The Head of the Charles Regatta is a premier head-racing rowing event held on the Charles River between Boston and Cambridge, racing a multi-mile winding course past landmark bridges and riverside viewing areas. It brings together international crews across divisions—including collegiate, high school, masters, and adaptive rowing—and attracts large spectator crowds who line the banks and bridges. Organized by Head of the Charles Regatta, Inc., the event is widely regarded as one of the largest and most prestigious rowing regattas in the world.
